Butter Lemon Snow Drops

December 12, 2012 By Meegan 9 Comments

I was in the kitchen the other day and came up with my own recipe for Butter Lemon Snow Drops!!  And are they yummy!!  So yummy, in fact that I thought you might like them too. They are a perfect treat anytime of year. We especially like to share them at Christmas time.

My Lemon Butter Snow Drops are featured on Pillsbury.com!  I am so honored.

Butter Lemon Snow Drops

I am a HUGE lemon lover!  You mention lemon and my mouth starts to water.  These cookies will do the same.  Absolutely the right amount of tangy lemon flavor, and the right sweetness to balance the whole overall taste.

{Meegan’s Butter Lemon Snow Drops}

Mix thoroughly:

1 cup butter (softened)

1/2 cup powdered sugar

the juice from 1 whole lemon

2 tsp lemon zest

Blend in:

2 cups flour

1/4 tsp salt

If dough is soft, cover and chill

Heat oven to 400*.  Shape dough into 1 inch balls.  Place 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheet.  Bake 8-10 minutes.

Immediately remove from baking sheet.  Roll and cover with

1/2 cup powdered sugar

These are buttery lemony melt in your mouth goodness.  And absolutely necessary for your Holiday baking.

Don’t forget to visit Pillsbury.com and tell them how much you like my Butter Lemon Snow Drops.

Lemon Cream Pie is also another fave of mine.  I am a lemon lover, that’s for sure!!

Thanks for reading my blog today.  I hope you come back again soon.

Make it a wonderful day filled with those you love.
