Coastal Style Christmas Tree

December 16, 2017 By Meegan 4 Comments

This post is sponsored by Balsam Hill. I have been compensated for this post, but all thoughts and opinions are my own.

My Coastal Style Christmas Tree is inspired by ornaments, floral picks, tree skirt and star tree topper from Balsam Hill.

With the soft pastel colors and various textures I am able to create a one of a kind Coastal Style Christmas Tree.

When I received my Narrow Blue Spruce Christmas Tree from Balsam Hill, I happily found TWO pairs of gloves, replacement bulbs and fuses and an instruction manual. I learned how to set up, care for and store my Christmas tree.

While opening the boxes filled with Coastal Elegance ornaments, I am pretty sure I gasped with delight. The colors that are reminiscent of the ocean, the frosted glass, the iridescent colors and the glamorous shell shaped ornaments were more than I expected. There is something to be said about purchasing quality Christmas decorations. The colors, weight, style will last a lifetime.

In another box I found the Juliette Artisan Christmas Tree Skirt.

I was SO excited. I haven’t ever had a tree skirt. I have always used a sheet, tablecloth or blanket-So this was exciting and fresh for me. The texture, beaded fringe with metal sequins were just what I needed to balance my Coastal Style Christmas Tree. I am in heaven with this look.

The Glittered Coral Elegance Picks create the look I was hoping for. They add instant sparkle, variety and eye appeal.

Every shape in the Coastal Elegance Ornament selection reminds me of sea shells and spending time at one of my favorite place-the beach.

This frosted look…Oh my goodness.

And the iridescent glass is stunning.

And then, the icing on the cake-a Double Sided-Star Burst Tree Topper. This is a size large, 14″ in height. I was afraid it would be TOO big. But, I am pleased with it, The size, shape and incandescent lights, it is the perfect way to top my Coastal Style Christmas Tree.

For my own style, I added white feathers for a look of snow, and  small strand of glitter string. I didn’t want to add too much more, because it would take away from the already gorgeous Christmas tree.

Create your own Coastal Style Christmas Tree with Balsam Hill decorations. Each piece is glamorous with a touch of coastal colors & textures. I am tempted to leave it up all year long. What do you think? Should I?

I also used Balsam Hill products here…

Christmas is…

Looks like you got some beautiful decorations to put on that beautiful tree! Balsam Hill has fine products! Like the look of the narrow tree too. You can leave it up for a little while…how about 6 months so you can enjoy it properly???

Oh, your tree is soooo pretty, Meegan!!! And I do love your new tree skirt! I haven’t had a tree skirt since we moved to Texas last year, well, really for a couple of years now, so through three Christmas seasons. This year I’m using a small sheep skin on one tree and a 1 yd. piece of white fabric with silver threads woven into it. A dedicated tree skirt is really lovely, though, and yours from Balsam Hill is definitely a keeper! I’m pinning a bunch of your pins to my Holidays, Best of Christmas and Decorating boards…. so many good ideas!

Happy Christmas to you and your family,
    Barb :)

    Hi Meegan,

I always love seeing your decor because blue is my favorite color. Your new tree skirt works perfectly with the coastal theme and I love the ideas of white feathers. They do indeed look like snow. Merry Christmas friend. ♥
