Well, Spring is just within days. I can already feel it coming on. With the spurts of rain and the temperature slowly rising, I created an Easy and Thrifty Spring Centerpiece with Fresh Flowers.
I am always in the mood for fresh flowers, aren’t you?
I was having a particularly hard day when my husband brought home some flowers to lift my spirits.
That’s when I pulled out my vintage and thrifted tea pots to make an Easy and Thrifty Spring Centerpiece with Fresh Flowers.
Today’s post is in collaboration with the Thrifty Style Team. You will find loads of thrifty home décor and style ideas from my talented blogging friends, too.
During the time that we were raising our seven children, I was a wedding coordinator. It was a lot of fun to create a bride’s dream wedding. I also learned a lot about floral care and style.
It has carried over into my holiday decorating, too.
What I like most about flower design now is that it is more carefree and freehand.
So when I was working on this Easy and Thrifty Spring Centerpiece with Fresh Flowers, I didn’t use any true designer guidelines. Except to create three very different styles.
Using my grandma’s vintage seafoam green tea pot was a fun way to celebrate her garden as I remember it. Filled with colorful flowers and long stems. It almost appears as they are growing right out of the tea pot, doesn’t it?
The sweet white tea pot brimmed over with pretty pink carnations, is a great addition to my Easy and Thrifty Spring Centerpiece with Fresh Flowers.
Lining the tea pots in row makes such a pretty and fresh way to set a table for a Spring Tea or Easter brunch.
Using what I had, along with fresh flowers (from the grocery store) was a great way to get my creative juices going as we head into Spring.
You don’t have to be as floral designer or wedding coordinator to create an Easy and Thrifty Spring Centerpiece with Fresh Flowers. Use what you like and it will be beautiful. This is a great way to make hostess gifts for any Spring event, too. You can find how to make flowers last longer and my floral tips here.
I hope you will enjoy all thrifty ideas below, too. They are amazing!
Thanks so much for joining me today.
