I am here today to show you an easy (as most of my DIYs and crafts are) to add a pretty centerpiece to your next family gathering, Easter dinner or even a tea party. It is my Spring Tea Pot Centerpiece with roses and sprigs of eucalyptus.
I went to the grocery store to hunt down a few flowers for my tea party (that is my post coming up tomorrow). I was looking for roses to fill my small tea pot. This tea pot is maybe big enough for 1 1/2 cups of tea. Not nearly enough tea for 6 women.
I thought instead of using it for tea I could make a Spring Tea Pot Centerpiece. I found some roses but they were quite expensive.
I didn’t have enough time to run to the floral market, like I wanted to do. So the grocery store was the next best thing. After browsing through for awhile and not really satisfied, I settled for the expensive bunch of roses.
THEN, as I walked around the corner there were flowers on sale! And if you know me, I am always looking for a deal.
Oh my goodness. I found 3 bunches of flowers for the price of one dozen roses. I was set to make my Spring Tea Pot Centerpiece.
I loved the soft, pale pink. Perfect for what I had in mind as a Spring Tea Pot Centerpiece.
Carefully measuring the stems, I cut them to fit into the tea pot. I did the same with a couple of eucalyptus berries and rose leaves. It isn’t florist perfect. BUT, it is just what I had in mind for my tea party and as a Spring Tea Pot Centerpiece. As the next few days passed, the roses opened up and looked even more beautiful than I could have imagined.
Have you ever tried making a Spring Tea Pot Centerpiece? If so, I would love to see pictures or hear all about it.
Thanks for stopping by and making my day just a little brighter.
