I just love flowers of any kind, color and species. This time of year I like corals and whites of any shade.

Do you ever have a picture in your mind of something you want, but you can’t find it anywhere? Does it happen to you a lot? It does to me.
I have been looking for a smallish wreath to hang on my shutter. I wanted something for Spring for my shutter. But, to no avail-I haven’t found one. So I decided to make my own DIY Cherry Blossom Wreath.
I purchased 2 stems of cherry blossoms from Joann’s. They were 50% off-AWESOME… I cut all the little branches off with wire snips. Easy.
Using floral tape I connected each of my stems together.
Have you ever used floral tape? You can purchase it at any craft store, or floral supply.
Tip: When you use floral tape, you need to stretch and pull to make it “stick”. If you just wrap it , it will fall apart and not work. So make sure to pull and stretch for a good, secure hold.
I made the wreath in no time at all. By bending my branches a little, I formed a circle. Then there was the problem of the green floral tape showing on the brown branches.
To “hide” the floral tape, I decided to hot glue the extra blossoms over it.
You can see that I strategically placed blossoms over the floral tape, and Voila!! I have a small Spring wreath hanging on my shutter
Do you walk by your newly created craft to admire it? Confession: I do! I love when I can picture something and it comes out just as I imagined.
Let me know if you make a DIY Cherry Blossom Wreath. I really would love to see it and hear about your success.

I am well over 700 posts on my blog now. That seems almost impossible to me. Some posts are excellent and others, well, let’s just say they could be much better.
I have been in the process of updating and revamping some of my older posts. Hopefully they will be a little more desirable and eye catching once I am done. Cross your fingers for me, okay?
