Cream Cheese and Shrimp Cocktail Dip

December 16, 2020 By Meegan 4 Comments

I am REALLY happy to have you at What Meegan Makes today.  I am glad to share another family fave recipe with you today: Cream Cheese and Shrimp Cocktail Dip.  Super yummy for the taste buds and perfect as an Easter Dinner appetizer.

This Cream Cheese and Shrimp Cocktail Dip will become a mainstay att all of your parties or just as a snack.

Ingredients:

1-8 oz package cream cheese-room temperature

1-12 oz jar cocktail sauce (or make your own)

30 de-veined, rinsed and thawed shrimp (I buy 70-110 size for this recipe)

Ritz or your favorite crackers

1 pretty plate to spread your dip on

Once the cream cheese is pretty soft, spread it evenly across a pretty plate.  I like using a clear plate.

Spread your favorite cocktail sauce on top of the cream cheese.

Layer the shrimp on the cocktail sauce.

Serve it up with Ritz or YOUR favorite cracker.  We like the sweetness of a Ritz cracker with the tangy flavor of the cream cheese and cocktail sauce.

I make this when we watch baseball games, as an Easter Dinner appetizer, and game night at home.

This flavor combination is a creamy delectable bite of creamy goodness.

Making Cream Cheese and Shrimp Cocktail Dip is easy to make and oh, so delicious. It is easy to transport to a dinner party, too. Make 2 plates, because it goes REALLY fast…

I know you will enjoy this recipe and want to add it to your own recipe collection.

Thanks for joining me today.  I enjoy sharing some of my favorite recipes with you.  Then a small part of me gets to be on your serving table.  How fun is that?
