Welcome! I am happy to have you here today. I hope your day is filled with lots of fun plans. AS for me, I have a fun project to share with you. It’s my Living Room Gallery Wall. This is a project that has been filed in the back of my mind for months. AND, now if is finally done. With the help of one of our sweet daughters.
You had a sneak peek at it last week for the Welcome Home Summer Tour.
Today I am excited to show you all the details. After a few times of trial and error, my Living Room Gallery Wall is just how I want it.
I didn’t buy anything new for this wall. I ended up using what I already had.
I scoured our home for pieces that I thought would keep the look I like and sty balanced.
Some pieces are sentimental and others are things I purchased for a thrift store.
As you can tell I like frames in all shapes, sizes and colors. Most of them I had painted to blend with my home decor.
To add depth and space, I like to add mirrors as often as I can.
This hook gives interest and functionality. It is an ideal place to hang our keys.
If you didn’t know already I like birds. So when I saw this bird print at TJ Maxx my heart skipped a beat. I KNEW I needed it in my home.
The moss monogram was a DIY project. It was fun and SUPER easy.
My lampshade was another DIY project. (I think that is still a work in progress (SMILE).
The ceramic plaque was handmade by my grandma to match her Desert Rose dinnerware. Each petal, leaf and ribbon were hand-crafted by her.
Even the corner wall has a few elements to compliment the Living Room Gallery Wall. Each piece is unique and has a small story to tell. From the shutter to the olive bucket, to the blue and white antique quilt for the 1800s, there is interest for both your eyes and mind.
Creating a Living Room Gallery Wall can take awhile, and it can be a project of trial and error. BUT, once it is done, it will be a beautiful and inviting focal point in any home.
Thank you for joining me today. I appreciate your visit and all of your compliments. I hope you take the time and effort to create your own Living Room Gallery Wall sometime soon.
Make it a marvelous Monday…

I have yet to do a gallery wall, because I’d want it to have that look of having been “there” on the wall for quite some time, versus contrived and new-looking. YOU nailed it – no pun intended – and THIS is the gallery wall I’d want to have in my own home! I love how it turned out – and your entire space is so warm and welcoming!

I love your bird print. I would have been willing to give up a lot just to be able to purchase it had seen it. I, too, love birdies :)
