When you are hostessing for any festive party, it is fun to have every nook and cranny decorated, isn’t it? Today I want to show you how to Decorate A Chandelier for Christmas in Under 10 Minutes. It’s quick, super easy and looks elegant for any home.
I am really blessed to have a friend that gave me this amazing chandelier as a gift.
When Christmas season comes around I can hardly wait to get it ready for my visitors and parties. But I don’t have a lot of time with all the baking, shopping and gift wrapping. This is the perfect solution. And you probably already have everything in your Christmas decoration stash.
What you will need to Decorate A Chandelier for Christmas in Under 10 Minutes:
faux (or real) greenery garland
faux poinsettias
5 yards-1 inch wide ribbon
crystals
ornaments hooks
icicle garland
small glass ornaments
fairy lights
pipe cleaners or wire
I start by laying the garland inside the chandelier in a circular shape. You can use the pipe cleaners to secure the garland, if you wish.
Layer the icicle garland and pine garland intermittently. Laying them on the greenery and intertwining them with each other. Whatever look YOU like is the best. You can not mess this up. If YOU like it, it’s beautiful.
Next comes the ribbon. I swagged mine all around the chandelier. My ribbon lengths are even. But, you can swag or layer it in various lengths if you wish. Once again, it is your preference.
I like adding extra crystals and small ornaments for a festive glitz and glam look.
Hanging them with ornaments hooks seems to be the easiest and most secure way to achieve this look.
Place the poinsettias on the candle holders for added texture. This is not necessary, but looks soft and Christmasy.
As a final touch weave (battery operated) fairy lights throughout all of your decorations.
I didn’t use candle sticks on my chandelier. But you most certainly can.
I just love how this looks during the day. And the ambiance for the evening is stunning.
It’s always fun to create something unique and creative for any gathering or event.
Decorating A Chandelier for Christmas in Under 10 Minutes, is just that type of statement piece.
I hope you have been inspired to decorate your own chandelier in any part of your home. This can even last the whole year long, depending on your style.
