Fall is in full bloom and that means decorating with burlap. I don’t know about you, but until recently thinking about cutting a piece of burlap has made me cringe. Just thinking about the mess to clean up and all those little fibers everywhere-ugh! I want to show YOU a trick to Cutting Burlap Without The Mess.
Since I have been preparing for a wedding this coming Friday, I have needed burlap. While I was purchasing the dreaded burlap, the girl cutting it showed me a tip to solve my burlap misery!! I thought I should share it with you-a few of my burlap loving friends.
It really is as easy as 1,2,3.
I have had rugs on my mind. I would like 2 new ones for the kitchen, one for the side of my bed, and a new one for the TV room. I look, and look, and look, and look everywhere! I look for deals, I look for colors, and I look for makeovers ideas. I look around even when I don’t need a rug. So, I decided to make my own Stenciled, Refreshed Rug.
I painted one wall in our TV ROOM “A Hint of Olive” by Ace Hardware. I LOVE how it turned out.

Anyway, in-between time I have been slowly working on our TV Room. It is really a bedroom, but is more functional for us as a TV Room, and perfect for when company comes for a visit.
