Did you know that some thrift stores in your area MAY contribute to your local animal shelters? I didn’t either until my friend, Jeanette from Country Design Style informed me.
If you aren’t sure if there is a thrift store in your area that is among that list visit: The Directory of Animal Protective Services. They will guide you to thrift store that benefit animal rescues.
By way of animal facts about me: We had a dog name Lacy that was an Airedale. We got her as a tiny puppy. She was so faithful to our family. As she got older she would walk our kids to the bus stop every morning. When it was time for the bus to drop them off, she would head back over and walk them home. It still brings tears to my eyes when I think about it. And she has been gone for more than 25 years.
Lacy looked VERY similar to this.
