Thrifted Fluted Pan Centerpiece

September 15, 2015 By Meegan 4 Comments

Hello everyone! I am back as promised to share something fun with you today. As you know I like to shop at thrift stores. First: because you never know what you are going to find. Second: because the prices can be amazing! A Thrifted Fluted Pan Centerpiece can be as easy as you want it to be.

Using kitchen ware is a fun way to decorate throughout the holidays.

But first let me show you what I found and what I did with it…

Thrifted Fluted Pan

I found this awesome red fluted pan for $1. My first thought was, “I am going to paint it.” Big surprise, right?

I didn’t paint it, BUT I added some Fall fun to it.

With some tiny pine cones and a candle, it became a Fall centerpiece. BUT wait there’s more!

I went back to the thrift store looking for a mirror. (I found one, and that is for another post.) I also found this rusty black tiered basket. The top was missing, but that was okay. I had a plan.Thrifted Tiered Basket

The creative juices started flowing. I knew I was on to something even MORE fun!

Ta Da! I made my OWN tiered basket.

By adding dried pomegranates, dried artichokes and a few preserved leaves, I instantly had a Fall Thrifted Fluted Pan Centerpiece.

How fun is that for less than $5 I made something to beautify our Fall cottage in the desert. I love when that happens. My Thrifted Fluted Pan Centerpiece is just a small sample of what you can do with kitchen ware.

I mentioned earlier that I like to use kitchen ware for Holiday decorating. I used a muffin tin here:

And small tart pans as tea light holders here:

Super easy and they look great.

I hope you have been inspired today. What are you going to use in your kitchen to decorate for Fall?

Your pan looks fabulous. I used to step on those dreaded sweet gum balls with my bare feet! Ouch! They look much better in your pan!
