It’s always fun to decorate with baskets, anywhere in your home. Each one adds personality and texture. I like to use a Thrifted Basket for Entertaining organization.

Especially when the basket contains festive plates and napkins.

With a LARGE wall to fill, and a collection of mirrors, it was fun to be creative designing a gallery wall.
Now, it’s nice to use creative juices for a fresh new look by Updating Thrifted Mirrors with Rub’nBuff.

If you are anything like me, it’s nice to look at a space in a whole new way. From changing furniture around to using thrifted finds to using paint and/or Rub’n Buff.
Today, I will share the whole process from beginning to end.
Recently you have heard a lot about my thrifted aqua ornament find for $5. Having over 100 aqua ornaments, it’s been fun to get the creative juices going and that includes a DIY Aqua and Red Christmas Wreath.

I just really like how it turned out and the festive look for the apartment cottage front door.
Below is a simple tutorial, with a list and links for you to design your own wreath.

Last year I decorated our Christmas tree with emerald green and red. And I LOVED it. So that was the plan again this year-until…

finding over 100 aqua ornaments at the thrift store for just 5 bucks!

THAT changed my whole direction and the creative juices started flowing. My first thought was aqua and lavender. I bought a few lavender ornaments, placed them on the tree with the thrifted aqua ones. Nope, not what I wanted. It looked TOO fairy/childlike to me.
I TRIED to like it. Really, I did. The color combination just would not fit my own “style”.
