Vintage Embroidery Hoop Shadow Box

My daughter-in-law made the cutest shadow box using a child’s night gown. I thought it would be fun to use the same concept for a Vintage Embroidery Hoop Shadow Box.

One of my latest thrifted finds is a 10×10 inch shadow box. It is chipped and has some sort of red punch dripping on the glass and fabric. The good thing about it is all the damage is fixable. PLUS it was 50% off. I can’t wait to share how I spruced it up.

Spring Tea Tablescape Ideas

I have been blogging for awhile now. Browsing through my blog posts I have found 15 Thrifty DIY Projects Under $20 that you can do.

Each one can be tailored to your own taste. Some are from thrifted finds. Others are just creative crafts that anyone can design.

Not only have I done crafts and DIY projects since I have had a blog, but long before that as young child. I remember making a “thatched hut” from a shoe box for a school project, using flour and water as a glue for paper crafts, and cutting intricate snow flakes for Christmas to hang on our family front door. Then even designing my wedding reception in a new, fresh way.
