Happy first Monday in 2015!! I hope your holidays and celebrations were as eventful and wonderful as mine. It’s nice to be back blogging again, and visiting with you! Today I have some Blue Winter Decor Ideas. I WISH they were my own, BUT they are from my talented and creative momma.
I am excited to share them with you along with I’ve Got The Monday Blues series, again.
I got away from the series when I was traveling in the Fall and then when the Holidays , and Hubby’s heart surgery came along.
I know this is one of YOUR favorite posts of the week, so I am happy to oblige with MORE blue ideas, loveliness, and ideas.
My mom has a gorgeous ranch home in Southern California. I love to visit and enjoy the view while I am there.
She used an umbrella table for a blue winter vignette. How cute is the large pinecone with the sweet red robin?
Gotta love me some blue pots with a vintage mason jar, too.
Her living room fire place is a lovely focal point. This time of year it is filled with blue bristle brush trees, tea lights and silver accessories.
AND, how amazing is the sparkly garland? She has it draped throughout her home for Winter. (Maybe even all year long…)
Combining several components, this vignette was one of my favorite.
She spent hours making “cone trees” for Winter decorations and accessories.
I love the fact that each of them are draped with her own jewelry. Some is expensive and others are from novelty stores.
I can’t wait to make some blue and silver “cone trees” for my own Winter decor. (HUGE smile!)
She has been wanting to obtain scones for the fireplace in family room. Instead she made her own.
Using dried eucalyptus, spray paint and blue wired ribbon, she made a lovely piece of art.
As icing on the cake, three pillar candles on a vintage mirror highlight the Winter mantel. With more silver eucalyptus leaves, and strings of gold pearls reflecting the candle light and mirror, it is a beautiful Winter evening by the fireplace.
I hope you enjoyed today’s post with some Blue Winter Decor Ideas.
Thanks to my momma for letting me photograph bits and pieces of her home, then sharing them with you.
She always inspires ME, and I knew she would inspire you, as well.
Make it a Blue Monday filled with YOUR favorite blues!
