Cottage Accessories and Inspiration

Happy Monday everyone!  It’s a beautiful day here.  It feels like Spring and LOOKS like Spring with green buds on the bare trees and some bulbs are already starting to bloom.

Something that reminds me of Spring is Cottage Accessories and Inspiration.  I am always drawn to the style of cottage living.  It is usually filled with lots of vintage and or a white and crisp feeling.  Today I have a few ideas that jumped out at me on Pinterest this past week.  I thought you might enjoy Cottage Accessories and Inspiration, too.

I like the crisp white accessories in this picture.  There are not many accessories, and I think that is what makes it appealing.  And, look at the detail of the numbers painted on the base of the chair.  Awesome!

Fresh flowers coming through the sun are always pull me in.  Look at the details of the white accessories with a splash of pink.  They are well-balanced and inviting.

Who wouldn’t want a Shabby Chic Mom Cave?  There is so much to enjoy in this space.  From the pink settee, to the angel wings, to the bird cage on the floor.

Adding accessories to a custom built house make it a cottage home  With wooden spindles added to a mantel, a chandelier hanging from the ceiling, and vintage gates.  Who wouldn’t want this look in their home?

Along with the crisp white, it is fun to incorporate some color, especially if it is Hydrangeas.  I like the black birdcage, as well.  It brings balance to the mantel.

Transforming your own outdated light fixture to some with a vintage look adds to your own Cottage Accessories and Inspiration.  Canning jars can make such a difference, can’t they?
