A lot of you have a laundry room. I think that is so awesome. But, for me I have a laundry “closet”. Do you have a laundry closet, too??
I thought since I have to do laundry in a “closet”, I might as well like it. Good idea, right??
I truly love these doors. You would be surprised at how much sound they block out. The doors look so happy with a wall pocket full off pink flowers in hopes of an early Spring.
When I organized my laundry “closet” I found empty boxes and covered them with fabric. For labels I used my cardboard chalkboards.
The box is a great spot for stain remover, extra detergent and fabric softener.
I made these mod podge birdies when I had first started a blog. I mod podged vintage book pages on 2-8×10 canvases. Then using a stencil, added my birdies. They fit perfectly here, don’t they??
Here is another view of the “closet”. I love the added touch of the candlesticks and the vintage scrapbook paper banner. The dryer is covered with a doily made by my grandma. It keeps the dryer from being scratched when I set a laundry basket or other things on top of it.
This makes me smile every time I open the doors. Even if I am doing laundry.
Do you have a laundry closet? Have you made it a place that makes you smile? I would love to hear about it.
Thanks for letting me share what I love to do. I am so glad you stopped by today!
Make it a wonderful Wednesday!

You inspired me. I have been looking at my laundry area with dislike. I think I will change it and clean it up as you have.
Great job.

I have what is considered a laundry room but it’s about the size of a closet! I have been looking at it lately, wondering what I can do to organize it and improve its look. There is too much stuff stored on the shelves so I’d love to purge that down to a reasonable amount. Just another one of those things on my list! Yours is so cute! I will make sure to add cute to it as it does make it much more cheery! Hugs, Leena

Meegan, I love what you’ve done with your laundry closet! I used to have a laundry closet and it was plain old boring white, with white wire shelves and laundry soap. Boring! This laundry closet totally beats my old one! It’s beautiful!!

Your laundry closet looks great. I think it is important to like a space you spend so much time in. Everything is orderly and neat, plus super cute! I am lucky and have a long room, which originally was supposed to house a second set of stairs, as a laundry room. I love to decorate my laundry room as well and I am going to use your idea of the crochet scarf. I found your post on Ginger Snap Crafts and am a new follower! Please stop by Still Woods Farmhouse when you get a chance. Have a terrific Thursday!
