Epsom Salt Christmas Jar Display

December 3, 2013 By Meegan 8 Comments

After visiting Pottery Barn and seeing their beautiful displays, I decided to make my own Epsom Salt Christmas Jar Display.

It wasn’t hard at all. AND using my own decorations and natural elements, I was ready to go…

You can use whatever YOUR taste is for your own Epsom Salt Christmas Jar Display.

I chose to use various vessels and colors, but always blending in a little blue, too. (My favorite color)

I used pickle jars, vintage canning jars, Princess House Crystal, peanut butter jars, etc…

The more variation, the better.

In this vase I poured in some Epsom salts and strategically placed my favorite snowflake ornaments inside.

Isn’t it stunning?

My blue vintage ball jar has glittered sticks with Epsom salt. LOVE this look!

I tried to stay with gold, white and blue as the main focus.

Adding pine cones, pecans (from my mom’s trees on her ranch), and magnolia pods

were just the right balance of natural elements I wanted.

My Grandma’s kissing angels could not be left out, either.

This is a Princess House Brandy Snifter filled with Epsom salts, pine cones and vintage Christmas bulbs.

(Can you see me in the gold bulb?  I have my glasses on.  Funny, huh)

Another one with snowflakes. Can you tell I am obsessed with this?

I also made a garland using jute, pine cones, pecans and a smaller one with just pine cones.

I think it blends perfectly.  Just how I imagined.

If you were making an Epsom Salt Christmas Jar Display, what would you use?

I hope you enjoyed my Epsom Salt Christmas Jar Display today and you will be inspired to make your own.

I would love to hear all about it.

Meegan, this is soooo wonderful! A winter wonderland. I love that you used different type of elements in the jars but everything comes together with Epson salt. ~Jeanette
