Today I’m SO excited to be at SNAP Conference in Salt Lake City surrounded by 500 other talented crafty bloggers learning, creating, and celebrating the friendships we’ve made because of blogging! And to celebrate with you, I teamed up with Abbey from The Cards We Drew and a large group of bloggers to create Crafts in a SNAP {15 Minute Craft Ideas} so that ANYONE, whether beginner or seasoned pro, can learn to create fun and handmade items in no time at all! Check out my tutorial for How To Make a Jar Lid Garland coming up, then scroll down below and be sure to check out some of what my blogging friends have to offer!! Have fun and get creative!
Let’s get started on How To Make a Jar Lid Garland…
There are six easy steps to make a Jar Ring Garland, and it will take you 15 minutes or less.
What you will need:
3 jar rings (I rusted mine with vinegar and salt)
2 yards of hemp or jute
reindeer moss
shredded book pages
hot glue gun
hot glue sticks
1 foam bird (bought at the craft store)
*Tie your rings together so they hang at different levels
*Add moss to each ring with hot glue. I like mine at various areas on the jar ring
*With a shredded book page make a nest and hot glue it to moss and/or the jar ring
* Using your hot glue attached the foam bird to your nest
*Hang your Rusted Jar Garland for everyone to see.
I just can’t get over how cute this is. AND how fast it was to make.
NOW, it’s time for all of my blogging friends to show your THEIR Crafts in a SNAP.
I know you will be inspired and enthused about everything you will see!
Thanks for joining me and my friends today while I am at SNAP.
Make it a wonderful day!
