Hello everyone! Welcome to my tutorial on How To Make Your Own Autumn Art. I am happy to be here today. My life is still pretty slow regarding my seizure disorder, so I am slow getting this post to you. BUT! I am doing well, and am having a great day filled with happiness.
This tutorial is How To Make Your Own Autumn Art. This would be a great way to add a Fall or botanical feel to your home or even as a hostess gift for Thanksgiving.
I don’t know about you, but I like leaves all year long. It doesn’t have to be Fall. I like botanicals all year long.
This is what I used:
vintage book pages
glue stick
silk leaves
craft paint
stipple paint brush
empty frames
I like to think of this as an inverted stencil.
To start my Autumn Art, I glued my book pages together to fit my frame.
The next step was to lay the leaf on the book pages.
Using my stipple brush, I dipped it in the craft paint. With very little paint on my brush I stippled around/over the leaves. Making sure to show all the details of each leaf.
You can use as much or as little paint as you like. Whatever you like, or your taste is.
As for that matter, you can use any colors you like, as well.
After your paint is dry, using a frame of your choice, place your Autumn Art in it.
Doesn’t it look great with the vintage scale and the pumpkin? Not to mention the birdcage (HUGE SMILE).
Each leaf has it’s own personality, don’t they?
I am pleased with how my Autumn Art turned out. I think my daughters will love this as a hostess gift for Thanksgiving, don’t you?
You can use this idea or concept for any Holiday like:

This is so charming. I like the vintage look it gives. Pinned and Stumbled.
