Hey everyone! I am happy to be here with you, today!
Do you have any plans for New Years Eve? I am trying a few new things around here to make the new year bright. One of which is my Mod Podge New Year’s Tea Light. It’ easy, fun and festive.
I was asked by Amy of Mod Podge Rocks to share something creative using something from the Mod Podge line.
I thought it would be fun to actually use Mod Podge itself.
I got my components together to create my Mod Podge New Year’s Tea Light .
Including:
Mod Podge
a paper napkin
a small salsa jar
Using a fine brush I applied the Mod Podge to the salsa jar. Easy, right?
The next step was to carefully adhere the napkin to the jar.
Once that was done, I added another layer of Mod Podge on the outside of the jar and napkin.
I wanted to add a little bling for the new year. I cut out a circle of glitter paper and used a marker to add 2015.
I found some metallic pipe cleaners from another project, and I was set.
I like how the battery operated candle gives it an extra “glow” don’t you?
Thanks letting me share my Mod Podge New Year’s Tea Light with you today. Thanks to Amy for inviting me.
Tomorrow I will be sharing my TOP TEN from 2015. I hope you will join me.
