Organizing Jewelry Using Books

January 26, 2015 By Meegan 10 Comments

Happy Monday everyone!  Are you ready to learn some organizing tips and tricks from some of the best bloggers??  I know I am, for sure.

When I think about organizing our home, it can be overwhelming, sometimes.  Since our home is small, we try to utilize every space.  Today, I am sharing Organizing Jewelry Using Books.  I know that might sound weird.  But it is a really fun tip and does not harm your books in any way.

Organizing Tour

  Let’s get started…

I have a lot of jewelry.  Most of it is fashion jewelry.  It’s fun to wear trendy earrings, necklaces, and rings.  Sometimes I am scrambling to find what I want or need in a hurry.  This is the perfect solution.  I have what I like within reach and don’t need to dig through and find what I want.

I started out by purchasing a hard bound book for $2 from the thrift store.  It is also a book that I am interested in reading.  (I am a huge Anne of Green Gables fan.  So the author, L.M. Montgomery intrigues me.)

Book for Jewelry Organizing

After removing the cover, I began to curl and tuck the pages in.  I curled about 25-30 at a time.

You can curl more or less together.  The more curls you have the more room you have for your jewelry.

There is no need to add glue.  The pages will stay right where you tuck them in.

Once my pages were curled and tucked in, I was ready to add my jewelry.

I carefully added earrings and rings in-between the curled pages.

NOW, when I am in a hurry, I can quickly grab what I need at a moments notice.  Not, only that, but it looks great, too.

This is so cute and such a good idea! I’ve never seen it before. I love the book that you picked out too. I am a HUGE Anne of Green Gables fan. I was actually thinking about rereading the whole series!
