I am glad to join you today. If you are new, WELCOME! Today I have a special post that is ideal for your Fall decorating. It is so fun and super easy. (And you know I am all about EASY.) I received a Paint a Pillow by Cutting Edge Stencils. And, I am excited to show you How To Stencil a Pumpkin Pillow.

Let me show you How To Stencil a Pumpkin Pillow with a few easy steps.

When you order your kit you will receive the following:Paint a Pillow Kit from Cutting Edge Stencils

Paint a Pillow Kit

pillow form

canvas pillow cover

paint

brush

roller

paint tray

sample fabric (to practice on)

popsicle stick

detailed instructions

Paint a Pillow Accessories

Your stencil and pillow cover are packed so you can start as soon as you pull it out of the box.

Pumpkin Paint a Pillow Kit

There is cardboard in-between the pillow cover, so you are ready to go.

Using my stipple brush, I outlined portions of the stencil. I was going for kind of a water colored look.

How to Stencil a Pillow

Like I have mentioned in the past about stenciling, less paint is better. ALWAYS. As I was working on this, I stippled the edges and then brushed the rest.

The stem is craft paint that I already had. The color is Woodland Green.

Stenciled Pillow Cover

Oh my goodness! This took me MAYBE 15 minutes. Then I let it dry. Since I didn’t use a lot of paint, it dried very fast. After it was dry, I fluffed up the pillow and stuffed it in the newly stenciled pillow cover.

I could hardly wait to put it on my porch!

Now how easy was that? It didn’t take any special skills and Cutting Edges sent me EVERYTHING I needed.

To say I am pleased is an understatement. How about ecstatic!

Thanks for joining me today and letting me share How To Stencil a Pumpkin Pillow.

I like the flower art stencils . I can see lots of interesting things to use these on! Walls, pillows, craft items and the list goes. Really one of each would be nice! (Just kidding, but love the choices). DJ

Oh my gosh, your pumpkin pillow on the porch is so “fallish”! And then I go on over to Cutting Edge Stencils and WOW~there’s so many to choose from. But my daughter is blessing me with my first grandchild in December, a little peanut named Maddox, so I chose the Anchors Away Pillow Stencil Kit. It would look great in his nursery!
Thanks for the opportunity and as always all the wonderful ideas and offers!
