At this time of year I like to make my Frozen Strawberry Dessert. It is made with REAL whip cream and fresh strawberries. Best of all-it is a no bake recipe.
It is so creamy and full of flavor I thought you would like the recipe, too.
Frozen Strawberry Dessert Ingredients
1 pint fresh strawberries (sliced thin) I use my mandolin
1 large package vanilla instant pudding
2 cups milk-to make pudding
1 cup whipping cream-whipped
1 package graham crackers
3 or 4 strawberries for decorating
1-8×8 pan
aluminum foil
Make pudding as directed on package. Chill.
Whip whipping cream until stiff.
Fold whipping cream and pudding together.
Gently add sliced strawberries.
Line 8×8 pan with aluminum foil.
Fill bottom of lined pan with graham crackers.
Spoon and spread 1 cup (or more) of Pudding/Whip Cream mixture on crackers.
Repeat process. Your last layer should be the pudding/whip cream mixture.
Place in freezer for 3 hours up to 24 hours.
Thaw out for 15 minutes before slicing.
Cut into 3 inch squares or slices.
Top with whipped cream and a strawberry for decorating before serving.
This Frozen Strawberry Dessert is perfect for a Summer party and a family gathering. Your guests will think you slaved all day in the kitchen, when it will only take you about 15 minutes for this luscious and fresh dessert.
