I love love love Summer, as you well know. But, I am slowly but surely adding some Fall decor to our home. I actually like adding some Early Fall Decor in our living space. Adding bright orange with my everyday blue home style makes me smile. It’s the little things, isn’t it?
Let me show you a few inexpensive ways to Usher in Autumn by using what you have AND without breaking the bank. And yet creating a feeling that Fall is coming very soon.
Start with using what you have. Like my vases from the thrift store and some greenery I found outside.
My dried artichokes will stay out now through January.
I like adding color with fruits and veggies. These tangelos are the perfect orange color for Fall.
With a few vintage books and my antlers, I can create a whole new vignette.
Strategically placing the vases, artichokes and tangelos on a pedestal from Marshalls, I have a whole new look for a Fall vignette.
For an added look for Fall, make pillows with botanical. coral or orange prints. A few fresh yellow carnations couldn’t hurt either. (Smile)
See how easy it is the bring Fall into your home? I just love to create something with what I already have. Early Fall Decor can be very simple.
I hope you are inspired to decorate for Early Fall Decor and enjoy the process of being creative without spending a lot of money. Have fun and make it a wonderful day.

Your home looks lovely. I love how you added just a few touches and instantly created a Fall atmosphere.
BTW It’s funny those tangelos are called pomelos over here in the Netherlands.
Meegan says
Thanks so much for your sweet comments. I didn’t know that tangelos are pomelos. Your Fall Mantel is so inspiring and beautiful. I am so glad you are on the tour today.

Meegan I love your vignette – the pop of orange is so fun and so unexpected that they are oranges instead of pumpkins! I love that! Your home is so lovely – I could move right in and be happy!

Hi Meegan!
Love your tablescape with the oranges and dried artichokes! Funny that you are using your sycamore spike balls, too, in that other photo… I used to rake up 3′ by 3′ piles three or more times a year from the two trees we had out front of our last home. LOVED their fall leaves!!! So glad the people who moved in kept those trees! :) They made the home and street so East Coast out in California…
Thanks for a lovely post,
Barb :)
p.s. Happily pinned. Please share your trees as they change to their beautiful fall colors… <3
