Easy DIY Book Page Pumpkin Centerpiece

September 2, 2020 By Meegan 6 Comments

I like simple projects. Something inexpensive, quick and simple enough for me to make quickly. My Easy DIY Book Page Pumpkin Centerpiece checks all those boxes off.

From a faux pumpkin that I found at Walmart, to vintage book pages from a thrift store and faux foliage from Target, I was able to make something special for my Fall Lavender and White tablescape seen here.

Making a book page pumpkin is as easy as using decoupage and vintage book pages.

Find my step by step tutorial for THAT here. When your pumpkin is dry, it’s time to start with adding the berry vine.

I took my berry vine apart to be able to add the berries and leaves a little at a time.

What makes this so easy is that your pumpkin is already made from foam. So your stems will stay in place and be secure.

I started out by using the leaf stems first.

By bending and twisting them, you create a whimsical look. And if you like a straight, symmetrical look, keep the stems straight. What YOU like is best!

It’s all about being creative.

The next step was to add the berry stems. With the same idea. Twist and bend for whimsy, or straight for a symmetrical style.

Turn your pumpkin all around and look overhead so you can see from all directions as to what your Easy DIY Book Page Pumpkin Centerpiece will look like.

I love my pumpkin on my most recent tablescape. I can use it clear through to Christmas, even.

It’s been a real treat to have you stop by today. I look forward to seeing your thoughts and comments about my Easy DIY Book Page Pumpkin Centerpiece.

Take care and make it a wonderful day.

Oooooooo Meegan, everything looks beautiful. The whole tablescape and the bookish pumpkin and the free styled leaves instead of a stalk. Everything!!!

What a fantastic idea… I see dollar store pumpkins all the time and don’t like the finish, this is such a great way to make them perfect for our home! Thanks for sharing this clever DIY, I’m definitely doing this one.
