I love the colors and ragged edges for a rustic Boho style. *This post was updated October 2025.
Let me show you how to design your own…

I have been blogging for awhile now. Browsing through my blog posts I have found 15 Thrifty DIY Projects Under $20 that anyone can do.
Each one can be tailored to your own taste. Some are from thrifted finds. Others are just creative crafts that anyone can design.

Not only have I done crafts and DIY projects since I have had a blog, but long before that as young child. I remember making a “thatched hut” from a shoe box for a school project, using flour and water as a glue for paper crafts, and cutting intricate snow flakes for Christmas to hang on our family front door. Then even designing my wedding reception in a new, fresh way.
While visiting my local thrift shop, I spotted a straw hat. It wasn’t the prettiest. But I knew it had potential. Today I am going to share how I designed my own Thrifted Straw Hat Boho Style Makeover.
With just a few components and a little time, you can have a stylish, fun and one of a kind hat for just a few bucks!

I just love hats. Baseball caps, visors, straw hats, knitted hats, you name it, hats are a great way to accessorize your wardrobe for any season.
