Hello everyone! It is so good to have you here. This week has been a little slow for me. But, I am doing well and happy to be here on my blog. Especially to show you my Vintage Mirror With Gold Tint.
I received this mirror shortly after my grandfather passed away. It hung in my grandparents bedroom along with their bedroom furniture as long as I can remember.
The frame of the mirror was a dull gold, coppery color. A little boring and “heavy” looking.

About 5 years ago, when I was trying to lighten up our small condo, I painted the frame of the mirror Turquoise Mist from Olympic Paint. It has been that way ever since.

Hello Hello! It is great to be with you today. As you remember, I spent 10 days in Washington D.C. with one of our daughters. She text me before I got there and said, “How would you like to recover my chairs while you are here?” I replied with a HUGE YES! You may have seen many chair makeovers on Pinterest, but I wanted to show you How to Recover a Dining Chair Seat, my easy and simple way.
We started out with 6 chairs, looking like this. Not bad, at all. The whole set was given to our daughter for free. The BEST price, right?
Having a family of 7, she wanted something durable. And not plastic.

This month’s theme is Pottery Barn Inspired. I thought this would be a pretty easy theme. But after perusing though PB online and their catalogs, I was a little stumped.
But this is the piece I wanted to mimic:
Their cost: $279
No, thank you.
