A Christmas Tree Home Tour

December 17, 2013 By Meegan 9 Comments

Hello Hello!!  Christmas is just days away and nine bloggers and I have a beautiful and creative Christmas Tour of Homes for you.  Thanks to Rachel from Like a Saturday for putting it altogether!   To see the full tour schedule and to link up on December 20th, visit Rachel at Like a Saturday.

Christmas tour of homes

If you are coming from Kayla’s blog Home Coming-WELCOME!!  I am so happy to have you here!!

Today, I am thrilled to share our Christmas Trees with a Christmas Tree Home Tour.  I LOVE Christmas trees.  But our 950 sq foot condo is too tiny for the size tree I want, so I have 4 little trees that bring the Christmas feeling into our home.

A Christmas Tree Home Tour

Each tree is unique and adds to the feel and look of our home.

This first tree is in our living room window.

It is filled with vintage “Shiny Brites”, snowflakes and icicles.

I used a glitter and crystal filled garland to lay around the tree as well.

The tree sits in my fleur box, along with the natural and glittered spheres from Pier One.

This white ornament is special because it was sent from one of my blog readers!!  Isn’t she sweet??

My next tree resides in our bedroom.  The colors are blue (one of my fave colors), silver and gold, with crystals scattered throughout.

With more vintage gold “Shiny Brites”,  I was able to get the look and feel I wanted for our bedroom.

The bedroom tree sits in a barn wood box. and surrounded with burlap.

You can see the cracks in some of the glass ornaments, showing the wear and age on them.

“Merry Christmas” adorns the top of the tree, as a reminder of the true meaning of Christmas.

One of my Christmas trees is also in the living room,  sitting in a vintage reproduction sleigh.   I decorated the tree with a pine cone garland that I made last year.

The Santa and toys were crocheted by my grandma.  Since she has passed on, they hold special meaning to me each year when I pull them out of the box.

Doesn’t Santa look excited to deliver toys on Christmas Eve??

Last, but certainly not least, is my DIY Flocked Tree in a Terracotta pot.  Having it sit right by my vintage birdhouse is a perfect place for my bird ornaments.

My Christmas Tree Home Tour has been so fun to share with you.  Each one makes me smile every time I see them and especially when they are lit up.  Be sure to also see my WHOLE Christmas Home Tour.

Thanks SO much for coming over for the Christmas Tour of Homes!  I KNOW you will enjoy each and every home as much as I have.

Your next stop on the tour will be with Gracie from Kitchen Table Art, tomorrow morning!!  You will not be disappointed.
