Create A Bathroom Style All Your Own

August 21, 2017 By Meegan Leave a Comment

After living in our desert cottage for the past 5 years, I have been thinking about how to Create A Bathroom Style All Your Own. The owners here are SO nice. They pretty much let me do anything I want. I know, we are blessed. It is always fun to dream, isn’t it?

Before we get started…This post was created in part thanks to Decoraport, all words and suggestions are my own.
Decoraport is an online home & garden specialty store with local showroom, local service. They offer high quality products, but at much lower prices. They Pursue Perfection in Price, Product, and Package.

Today, I want to share a few ideas to Create A Bathroom Style All Your Own.

Sometimes it is one of the last rooms to get a face lift. And, yet it is where EVERYONE needs to visit.

Most of us think, “A toilet is a toilet.” Right? Well let me tell you about the Siphonic One Piece Toilet.

Not only are they sleek with modern style, but each one has these features:

*water saving

*eco-friendly

 *easy to install

*smooth, shiny surface

*range in price from $200-400

If you are going to Create A Bathroom Style All Your Own, why not start with the toilet? After all, you don’t want your visitors (or your family for that matter) to smell the scent of an old toilet, right? We all know what it’s like to rush around when company is coming, right? We rush into the bathroom and make sure it does NOT smell. Why not treat yourself and your home with a new Siphonic One Piece Toilet?

As you are purchasing your toilet, choose the style that is right for you, and your home style-Make sure the size is in balance with your bathroom. You don’t want a teeny, tiny toilet in a large bathroom. Take time to measure. You will be glad you did.
Now, let’s move on to the mirror. I think it can set the tone for a bathroom, don’t you?
A mirror like this, filled with LED lighting is ideal for a dark powder room or in the evening when taking off your makeup. Once again, you can choose from shapes and sizes. PLUS! Turning the light on is as easy as touching the mirror. What a great feature for an updated bathroom. Remember the same tip as before? MEASURE.
For the sink, I am drawn to an above the counter style. Are you, too?
The shape serves as a piece of art in your bathroom, doesn’t it?. This sink has a high quality glaze on the surface (except the back) and  is easy to clean. It also is solid and durable ceramic. Can you remember the tip I mentioned before? YES! Measure.

To Create A Bathroom Style All Your Own…Let’s talk bathtub…Hmmm…I don’t know about you, but I like to take a bath to unwind or as a great way to start my day.

Having lived in homes with REALLY small bathtubs, I would LOVE a gorgeous free standing, tub. I think it would be lovely to read a book, sip on my favorite tea and enjoy my newly finished bathroom. Doesn’t that sound amazing?  Oh! I almost forgot to ask you… The Tip? Yes, that’s right! MEASURE.

So far, in our quest to Create A Bathroom Style All Your Own, we have a Siphonic One Piece toilet, sink, mirror and tub. What else would you need for your updated bathroom?  How about faucets for the sink and tub?

And, then do you need storage space, more lighting? In between your larger purchases, what about a new paint color or bath towels? Simple, yet very effective.

What other ideas can you come up with? Decorating is always fun, too. I am excited to here your ideas, thoughts and experiences, too. Please leave a comment below and let me know how you would Create A Bathroom Style All Your Own.

Make it a lovely day.
