EASY Scarf Wreath

January 27, 2016 By Meegan 3 Comments

Hey everyone. Are YOU thawing out yet from all the snow, sleet and rain? It is getting a little warmer here, but the wind is cold. BRRRR… So while I am trying to stay warm, I decided to make something new for Valentines day.

An EASY Scarf Wreath.

When I say easy, I mean EASY PEASY.

Isn’t it lovely? I am so excited to show you HOW easy this EASY Scarf Wreath is.

It all started when I made a fluffy red scarf a few years ago. I used a loom (because I don’t crochet or knit) and I actually made several for Christmas.

Supply List for an EASY Scarf Wreath:

1-scarf

1-8 inch Styrofoam ring

t-pins

heart cookie cutters

I thought I would like to keep this red one for myself. Needless to say it has been hanging in the closet all this time. It is so pretty, but a little to short for my liking. (Yes, I am a little picky about clothes.)

SO using what I had, I thought it would be fun to wrap the scarf around a Styrofoam ring. Easy, right?

I secured the scarf in place with tee pins.

Once the scarf was secure I attached two heart cookie cutters to the wreath with a piece of yarn.

Didn’t I tell you it was EASY? I love the added touch with the cookie cutters, don’t you?

Of course, if you don’t have a fluffy scarf, any red, pink, mauve, or even purple scarf will work, don’t you think? Especially for Valentines day.

Wasn’t that fun? It literally took me 10 minutes to make my EASY Scarf Wreath. What would YOU add to create something fresh for your front door?

Thanks for joining me and letting me show you how to make your own EASY Scarf Wreath today. I am always happy to have you stop by. It makes my day brighter.

Have a wonderful day!
