Welcome to A Festival of Fall! Fall is officially here. And you know what that means, right? It means bloggers are excited and thrilled to share their own Fall crafts, decor, recipes, home tours and DIY projects.
Today is my turn to show you a few of my Fall ideas. I had so much fun showing you other ideas here, here and here. Today I am working with 29 bloggers to bring you THE BEST in blogland.
My goal this year was to bring blue, white, and REAL foliage into my Fall decor.
Using fresh clippings from right outside my door, I was able to achieve that. My vintage blue mason jars were needed, as well.
I love to use as many natural elements as possible. So using tree twigs and branches, and stumps was also a good option. Before throwing away a perfectly good tin can, I painted it two shades of turquoise. It now is home for my twigs and sticks. (Easy Peasy)
Botanical prints are some of my fave. They bring a natural feel to any room. I made each of these pillows to add the color I wanted and needed for my Fall decor. You can find the tutorial for the pillow on the far right here.
I painted a block of wood, turquoise and, then I stacked it with my vintage books. Can you tell it’s not a book?
My blue vintage mason jars are filled with more clippings from outside. Adding a little orange helped bring in the Fall colors.
My Pottery Barn Knock-off Pumpkin is the balance I needed for this vignette. (Now you can tell the blue “book” is a block of wood. Sneaky, huh?)
This is a view of the blues , oranges, whites and real foliage I used for my Fall decor. This is one of my favorite views right now.
As a part of the Festival of Fall and the natural Fall look, I included succulents and a white painted pumpkin on a candlestick. My vintage window and mirror, and clock are an optimal backdrop.
A jute bow is a simple, yet finished accent.
Our bedroom also needed a few Fall elements.
Placing thrifted candlesticks and painted white pumpkins in a wooden tray bring in texture and variety,
Can you tell I am enamored by this Fall look?
