Green Valley Christmas Trees

The Real Deal: Green Valley Christmas Trees vs. Big-Box Store Christmas Trees.

Have you ever heard of Green Valley Christmas Trees?

Let me tell you all about them and how they compare to big Christmas tree lots and/or stores.

When you are shopping for a REAL Christmas tree, what are you looking for? If you are like me, purchasing a FRESH tree with soft needles, and a moist feel is top on my list.

I like a full tree with a fresh pine scent. Having to light a candle or have a pine air freshener to give me the scent.

Not only that, I like a quality, hearty and beautifully cut Christmas tree. I also don’t want to pay a lot of money for it to dry out before Christmas. Have you ever had that happen? I sure have.

Hmmm…While the tree above was purchased at a local tree lot, I was hopeful. The sign said “Fresh Trees from Oregon”. Well, that sounded good. I honestly tried to pick their best tree. Although, I am disappointed that it is sparse and already looking dry. AND, I did have to carry it on top of our little car. Especially relevant…I had to lug it up our condo stairs. Not fun. P.S. The trunk is skinny and bends a little.

Now, this is how Green Valley Christmas Trees works:

CHOOSE YOUR TREE
Shop from a variety of premium Christmas tree species, growing in their native soil.
PICK YOUR SHIP DATE
Decide what day you would like the Christmas tree to leave the tree farm.
DELIVERED FREE TO YOU
Expect a fresh Christmas tree, hand-cut within two days before shipment.

I chose a 5-6 foot Noble Fir tree. The Noble Fir Christmas Trees are celebrated for their upturned, blue-green needles and evenly spaced branches. Green Valley Christmas Tree farmers carefully hand-select each Noble Fir tree to provide the most beautiful and lush trees for your home. A 48-hour period between harvest and delivery ensures that you and your family enjoys a fresh Noble Fir Christmas Tree throughout the holiday season.

Other selections you might like would be the Balsam Fir or Fraser Fir. Each species has the same quality and freshness. No matter the type of tree you choose, you will not be disappointed.

Overall, we are enjoying our fresh and beautiful Noble Fir tree. Now that it is decorated with lights, we are in the Christmas spirit. Baked goods and wrapping presents is on my list while looking at our tree from Green Valley Christmas Trees. We will definitely order one from them again. It has become a new family tradition.

You can see how we opened our Green Valley Noble Fir Christmas Tree on my Facebook page.

Thanks for stopping by today. It is always a highlight in my day to have you here.
