How To Make a Pom & Ribbon Garland:

Thread your needle. (I doubled my thread.) Tie a knot at the end.

Choose the poms you want for each strand. You can make one strand all one color, and then make other strands with various lengths and colors.

You can make a pattern if you want. Like: black, orange, green. OR all the same color with different sizes.

It is whatever YOU like.

Taking your time, string each pom on your thread one at a time. You can make it s full or as spare as you want.

I made three strands of pom garland. Each was a different length and color. For instance: One was all black, one was all purple, one had all three colors with varying sizes of poms. Some poms are close together, while others are further apart.

Using tape I attached each pom garland to the back of my mirror. Then it was time to add the various ribbons. I made those different lengths as well.

I wasn’t worried about perfection when I hung each ribbon or pom garland. I wanted a random, yet coordinated look. Does that make sense?
