Kitchen Cleaning Tips

It’s that time of year when families gather, we eat a lot of food and that means a lot of dishes to wash. I have a few Kitchen Cleaning Tips that work for me, so I thought I would share them with you, too.

I love cooking for my family, BUT, the dirty dishes can overwhelm me. Do you feel the same way, too?

Sometimes I think it would just be easier to let the pots, pans and soiled dishes soak in the sink for a few days. BUT, that really isn’t what I want. I like my kitchen to be clean in-between cooking and baking.

Looking through Dollar General, I found just what I need for Holiday kitchen cleaning. Scotch-Brite® Non-Scratch Scrub Dots Sponges.

The many different sizes, shapes and wands will make my Kitchen Cleaning Tips MUCH easier.

I like to make Stove Top Rice Pudding, but it can be a real mess to clean up.

Meegan’s Stove Top Rice Pudding

2 cups cooked jasmine rice (I use leftover rice from dinner the night before)

1 egg

1/2 cup whole milk

2 tablespoons raw honey

1/3 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

Heat rice. While rice is hot, stir in milk and egg until creamy. Making sure egg is cooked completely.

Take off heat.

Blend in honey and spices.

Pour into custard cups or bowls.

Top with fresh fruit.

Makes 4 servings.

Now I have the right tools for each surface after I make my Stove Top Rice Pudding.

The Scotch-Brite® Scrub Dots work fast and rinse Clean.

The products feature Scotch-Brite® Scrubbing Dots technology, which allow the sponges to rinse clean.

I really like the color codes that help me know which sponges work best in each area of the kitchen.

*Green for baked on messes.

*Blue-cleans without scratching. Ideal for non-stick cookware, pots, pans and counters.

PLUS, I like the fact that I can use them around the sink and counters. Easy cleaning when our tiny condo is filled to the brim with dirty dishes, kids and grandkiddos.

Like anything else, I was hoping I would find products that would save me time and make my life easier. The the power of the Scotch-Brite® Scrub Dots was more than I had hoped for.

I hope you will try my Kitchen Cleaning Tips along with my kitchen Cleaner Solution, too.

    Love all of these ideas.
And, coincidentally, Doug just bought some frozen JASMINE RICE. So we’re all set to go.
