If you have been reading my blog for any length of time you will know, I LOVE a good knock-off. Today, to get in the spirit of Christmas and winter I am sharing my Pottery Barn Jingle Pillow Knock-off .
First of all, I have to admit I LOVE me some Pottery Barn.
My husband took me “inspiration” shopping a week ago. I love walking through retail stores and being inspired by their displays and items. I came across this Jingle Pillow at Pottery Barn, and KNEW I needed one, too!
BUT, not with the $39.99 price tag.
After purchasing all of my components, I was ready to go.
This is my pillow! Not too shabby, right? I am SO pleased with how this turned out. It took me a little bit, and it is not perfect, but I love it nonetheless.
The components I needed:
After I cut and sewed the burlap to fit my pillow size, I slid freezer paper in-between the inside of the burlap pillow cover.
I carefully spaced and stenciled each letter. I then added stenciled curves dots and extra pretties.
Because the paint was still wet, I let the pillowcase dry overnight.
In the morning, I turned the burlap cover inside out to add the red jingle bells.
From the inside of the burlap pillow cover, I used a heavy duty thread to sew my red jingle bells to each corner and to “dot” the J and the I. (You can also use super glue or hot glue for extra security)
Isn’t my Pottery Barn Jingle Pillow Knock-off such a beauty? It is the perfect addition to any Christmas or Holiday decorating. I may need to make a few more as Christmas gifts or our children and their families.
I was trying to think of some other words that I could add to other pillows. What word would YOU choose for YOUR own Pottery Barn Pillow Knock-off?
Thanks so much for stopping by today.

The pillow is great and I don’t blame you for not wanting to pay that much for a pillow. I make most of mine. Great job – thanks for sharing.
