How To Update Christmas Ornaments

November 15, 2024 By Meegan Leave a Comment

Learn How To Update Christmas Ornaments in just two steps. It’s so easy and looks beautiful on any Christmas tree.

This process doesn’t need glue or scissors. It could not be easier.

There are some Christmas decorations that look nice resting on a tree branch. Sometimes it looks like the ornaments could be “floating” in the tree.

Yet highlighting or updating the ornament could even look better.

It all starts with fiberfill. You can find some here.

For a glistening look, you will also need iridescent faux snowflakes. Like here.

Carefully add a handful (0r more) of fiberfill to a prefered branch on your Christmas tree. Spread out the fiberfill to cover the area of  your choice.

Once you have the fiberfill pulled and laid out how you like it, sprinkle the iridescent faux snowflakes on top of the fiberfill. Some WILL fall through the fiberfill and/or branches. It won’t make a big mess, but you should know ahead of time.

My preference is to place the fiberfill and faux snowflakes on top of, or near the tree lights. That gives the chance of the faux snow to “sparkle” or “glow”.

Now it’s time to place your ornament on the fiberfill and iridescent snowflakes.

You can find a bird nest like this here.

Who knew something so simple could make such a difference?

By learning How To Update Christmas Ornaments, it adds a fresh new look and style to any tree. What Christmas ornaments do YOU want to highlight or update?
