It’s Friday already!! Where did the week go?? Love, love, love to share my Friday Fave Pins with you every week, and this is no exception!!

It is March 1st, so how could I not share a Green and St Patrick’s Day item???

This wreath is from Jill at Create Craft Love:

Jill is creative and talented. She gives a full tutorial on how to make this St Patty’s Day wreath. I just love the medallions.

And now, since Spring is almost here, this is perfect for all the little baseball players I know. Chase The Star upcycled this footstool for her little guy.

Barbara’s neighbor gave her the stool when it was a hot mess!! So Barbara took the challenge and made a great addition for her home. LOVE it! Another tutorial you don’t want to miss!!

Next from Posh Pink Giraffe is a PB Knock-off Candle Holder:

After receiving her PB Catalog and seeing something very similar to this egg beaded candleholder, Posh Pink Giraffe decided to make her own-using a can lid, pipe cleaners, and beads. Simply amazing!!

The next pin is from one of my all-time fave bloggers, June.

Her style is personified over at Laughing with Angels. The lace cupboard is just a small portion of June’s home. Love, love her style and taste.

Make it a fabulous Friday!!

I haven’t always looked for thrift finds. But, in just the past few years it has been a fun hobby for me. Today I wanted to share a few of my thrift finds from the past few weeks plus a few more! So exciting!!

The grapevine ball was $1, basket $1, the candle stick 50 cents, and the shelf was $3.

I had fun changing the shelf up to this:

I just love this $3 shelf in our office!!

On another trip to the thrift store, I found this:

I know!! $5-who could resist??? I was so excited to spot a lovely shutter!!

I have already been playing around with the shutter using layers of paint. I will be showing you that next week. I can’t wait!!

Hubby knows me so well. He took me to a HUGE warehouse sale yesterday. I have been looking for a small table for our place. Just big/small enough for the 2 of us. And then a place for the grand babies to sit while they eat, color, play games, etc…

Yep!! We paid $10 for each item! I am so stoked! The table is solid wood with a vinear top, made in the 70s. The chairs are solid wood as well. They were made in the 60s.

Seriously! A dining set for $30!! I can’t wait till my paint brush gets ahold of these!! I have great plans for these beauties!!

My Spring Shelves

I love the warm weather with a hint of Spring. To help me even feel more like Spring is on it’s way, I decided to decorate my Spring Shelves. Seriously, as I am writing this I hear the sweetest birds singing outside. So cute…

Anyway…Let’s get this show on the road!!

With our windows wide open, the smell of warm, fresh air inspired me to bring out my Spring ideas.

Don’t you just love the look of a nest with speckled eggs?? An awesome find at 99centOnly. The vintage books are a perfect way to add height.

The wreath is usually found on our front door, but she looks happy here with a bird’s nest and the other Spring elements, don’t you think??

Just a closer view of everything. The branch on the left with the humming bird nest is from my mother-in-law. She loved hummingbirds. Another sign that Spring is on it’s way.

The two african violet pots were purchased at Tai PanTrading. The moss on each pot reminds me of Spring, and new life.

The tulip pot was a dollar at Gardner Village, when I was there a few years ago. You can’t beat a dollar for tulips, can you??

Do you recognize the grapevine ball?? I found her at the thrift store. She is just the right texture to finish off my top shelf.

My Spring favorites are: bloosoms on trees, green leaves, fresh flowers blooming everywhere, the birds chirping, green grass, and the warm sun telling me Summer is on it’s way.

I’ve Got The Monday Blues

Good Blue Monday to you!! How was your weekend?? What keeps you busy?? This past week I had the flu…Boo!! It really knocked me for a loop. But I am feeling much better. And blue always makes me feel better, that’s why I’ve got the Monday Blues.

Today I am taking a little different approach to my Monday Blues. I thought it would be fun to show you a couple of the blues in our “new” office. The reveal for the office will be soon, but until then here are just a few blues that make me smile.

We say this is our office, but it is really a bedroom with one whole wall being a closet. It used to be our TV Room, but after moving a few things around we have transitioned this room into an office. The room is so much more convenient and useful like this. As you walk in the office from the living room, there is a tiny wall on the left. And my blue framed silhouettes of our kids fit this space just right.

I've Got The Monday Blues This is the perfect home for these lovely blue frames. We had them done when all of our kids were small. The frames were black but I couldn’t resist and painted them with Turquoise Mist by Olympic. The silhouettes blend with our gallery wall now.

I've Got The Monday Blues This candle stand also adorns the tiny wall. When I bought her she was gold. But, that didn’t last long.

I've Got The Monday Blues I painted these jars and vase for a wedding last Summer. Tying them with twine adds texture and an aged look. They make me smile with Tiffany blue.

They are sitting on top of our bookshelf:

I've Got The Monday Blues I bought this lovely at Target. The white back was too stark, so I added pieces of scrapbook paper to add depth and color. She looks much better, don’t you think??

You will also find another blue in our office. This thrifted shelf I found for $3. She is hanging just above our computer desk. (where I am sitting right now) It is refreshing to look up and see this delightful shelf.

Now you can see why I’ve got the Monday Blues. Gotta love me the Monday Blues.
