Do you have real houseplants? They get dirty and dusty like everything else? It has been years, and I mean YEARS ago I learned this Spring Cleaning Tip.  I learned how to clean REAL houseplants, so they look healthy and shiny.

Clean Dusty Plants with Milk by meeganmakes.com

Well, I have this tip. that will help you solve dusty, dirty, real houseplants.  So easy, your kids could do it, too!!

This will not work for artificial plants-Sorry!

How To Clean Real Plants without Chemicals

All it takes is a small amount of milk-any fat content will do.

Clean Your Dusty Real Plants with Milk

This is my dusty, dirty plant-Ugh! It is in our bedroom and not appealing at all.

Now, for the tip…Pour milk in a small bowl. (In this case I used almond milk) I have used just about every kind of milk. From whole milk to non-fat, and it works perfectly every time.

Dab a lint free cloth in your milk. Then carefully wipe each leaf- front and back.

Three Cleaning Tips To Save You Time and Money

See how they glisten? It is THAT easy. Your plants will be really clean, look fabulous and shiny. PLUS have a healthy glow. OH! and while I am at it, I also clean the branches and stems of the plant. This will make such a difference,

Of course, your plants will get dusty again, but they will stay shiny at least for 4-6 months.  Dust them as you normally would.  And after 4-6 months do the process all over again. This time you have the Spring Cleaning Tip on How to clean REAL House Plants and you won’t have to stress out. Easy peasy, right?

How easy is that? I told you this Spring Cleaning Tip would change your life.

Thanks for letting me share a Spring Cleaning Tip on How to clean REAL House Plants.  I am so glad you came today. Come back again VERY soon.

Make it a fabulous day!!

That is one of the BEST tips! I have to call my Mom right now and tell her about it! My plants are so dusty and it is impossible to keep them clean in a new(ish) house where there’s still a lot of dust from the build… Thank you soooo much!
