Summer is a State of Mind

June 16, 2017 By Meegan Leave a Comment

When I think of Summer-I think of cool colors, warm days, great food and having my feet in the water or sand. I guess for me, Summer is a State of Mind. That is why I thought it would be fun to make 4 different Free Summer Printables. All for you and me.

Each one is a different color with the same quote.

Summer is a state of mind for me. Especially right now. I don’t think I have told you, but my 92 yr. old FIL is living with us now. He has been here about 7 weeks. Only 15% of his heart is working. He can do most things himself. But, he can’t cook, falls A LOT, forgets things, sleeps a lot and needs help with his hygiene. Hospice comes in 3-4 times a week to help and it is wonderful. And of course, my hubby is a tremendous help. BUT, I am a REAL Summer person. I love the sun, the water, the quiet, and overall feeling that only Summer can bring.

Since I am inside most of the time, this year, my motto is: Summer is a State of Mind.

Is it your’s, too?

The white background is for a crisp look. With the vibrant yellow, greens, pink and lavender-it feels like a Summer field of wild flowers.

The blue reminds me of pool or ocean water. It keeps me cool and refreshed.

This lime green looks like a cool limeade drink or even lime sherbet. YUM!

And, of course-yellow reminds me of the blazing sun beating down during the hot months.

While I don’t get to spend as much time in the Summer sun, this year, I will remember…Summer is a State of Mind. And enjoy what I have.

If you are like me and have to spend most of your Summer days inside, in your office, at work, or caring for someone-this quote will be a great reminder that Summer is a State of Mind.

To print one as a gift or for yourself…Place your arrow on the picture and right click. Click print and be sure to click COLOR for the full effect of BRIGHT colors. You are more than welcome to print as many as you want. BUT, please do not us them for monetary gain. Not only would it make me sad, but I do have a copyright policy on my blog, and I wouldn’t want you to break the law. Right? Right.

FYI…Each printable with fit a square frame.

Thanks so much for stopping by and letting me share what I love to do.

Summer is a State of Mind.
