Hi everyone! Do you have Spring weather where you are? We have had crazy weather. One day it is in the 80’s and the next day the wind is blowing with rain. Craziness, right? BUT, when the weather is nice I like to have my family over and it is fun to teach them How To Make Flower Cupcake Picks after we have baked a few goodies.
It is pretty easy and adds a touch of flair to your homemade baked goods.
Let me show you How To Make Flower Cupcake Picks the easy way.
This is what I used to Make Cupcake Picks for my tea party:
scrapbook paper
scrapbook flower punch
elmer’s glue (because it doesn’t turn yellow after time)
toothpicks
I gathered all of my scrapbook paper and punched out lots of flowers. I used three different types of punches for variety. I punched out enough to have for every kind of event I could think of. From graduations, to birthdays, to swim parties, to baby showers.
My next step was to find the center of the flower with the tooth pick.
Using the glue, I adhered the tooth pick to the scrapbook flower.
I also added glue to each petal. (Not TOO much, because, I didn’t want it oozing out the sides and middle.)
The next step was to place the other flower on top. Using my fingers, I applied pressure to the middle and each petal. Be sure to allow at least a few hours for drying time.
A quick tip is to make sure you toothpick sticks out far enough from your flower to be able to stick in your cupcake with out falling over.
How fun are these Cupcake Picks? I like how they look in my orange cupcakes made from scratch.
What do you think you will create now that you know to How To Make Flower Cupcake Picks?
My creative juices are going crazy. I want to make them for our granddaughter’s eighth birthday coming up soon. Like I always say, the only thing that limits you is your own imagination or creativity.
Thanks for stopping by and making my day even that much better.
