Happy Friday, everyone! Isn’t it a great day? I think it’s a great day for a Family Recipe for Chocolate Chip Cookies. Don’t you?
This amazing recipe has been in our family for years. I first came across it when I was asked to be a camp cook for our church girl’s camp. It has been a family favorite ever since.
Not only is this recipe delectable and delish-it makes 6 dozen cookies! Each cookie is filled with buttery, rich flavor and lots of chocolate chips. Is your mouth watering yet? I bet you want the recipe, right?

4 cups chocolate chips
Cream together: butter, sugar, brown sugar
Add vanilla and eggs (one at a time) beat for 3-4 minutes
Slowly stir in: flour, baking soda, salt
Once blended, add chocolate chips
Bake on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Do not reuse wax paper. Line the cookie sheet with new paper each time.

I know you will love these cookies. They are a staple anytime our family gets together. Licking the spoon isn’t half bad, either (snicking over here)
I know we all have our favorite family recipe and this happens to be ours. Give them a try, I know you won’t be disappointed.
