My New Quilt
Hello my friends!! Happy Monday! It is a great start to a new week. AND, I am excited to share My New Quilt with you today!! It has been a long time coming. Three years I have been looking for a Summer quilt.
We were in Utah to help Hubby’s father. He is 89 yrs old. He still drives, cooks for himself, does laundry, and straightens up his home. But, he needed a little help with some life decisions, and it was our pleasure to spend time with him. After helping him for a few days, Hubby and I took a break. Little did I know I was going to buy My New Quilt.

I told you a few weeks ago how much I like collecting shells. While my son, his wife and their baby were in Bermuda last month, they brought me back some amazing shells and sand. The bottle of sand was found while my son was scuba diving. How cool is that???
I like various shells, their colors and shapes. They each seem to have their own personality, don’t they???
I have many shells of this type, but never one this big. Can you believe the spikes on the bottom one? Crazy.
Bermuda is known for it’s pink sand. I love all the flecks of pink in the bottle.
And then the tiny little shells inside are a perfect touch.
Office Organization Without a Desk
I can’t believe how fast this past week has gone. I need some organization in every aspect of my life. Things can get a little out of control if you don’t have a desk. Yeah, we have a computer desk, but not a desk to organize bills, important papers, scissors, copy paper, etc…
SO, I decided to have some Office Organization Without a Desk.
I bought a bookcase at Target for $20. I thought that would be a good place to start. With my husband in school, he can keep his books here, his homework, assignments, and small mementos to make it an organized yet homey space.
