Breakfast Nook with Thrifted Furniture

There are those times when you have a vision of what you think your home should look like. It’s in your head, but you aren’t sure if you can actually make it happen.

That is how I designed our Breakfast Nook with Thrifted Furniture.

I didn’t move into our small condo thinking, “We need a breakfast nook.” I didn’t know what to do with this space-at all. I knew it wasn’t big enough for a large table and yet we still needed a place to eat. The bar is too high for stools, unless we wanted our dinner plates at shoulders height. Boo-that didn’t sound comfy…

I worked and fiddled with the space until we finally have an official Breakfast Nook with Thrifted Furniture.
