At the end of this post there will be affiliate links, at no extra cost to you.

Welcome to What Meegan Makes today. With Spring in the air I am happy to bring a little color in our home. I thought you might want too as well.

That is why I am going to show you an easy way to add some color in your home with minimal cost and very little effort. I will teach you How To Make a Napkin Banner.

EASY Napkin Banner

It is so fun and pretty, you will want to make one for every holiday.

What you will need to make a Napkin Banner:

Pretty print cocktail size napkins (I found mine at Tuesday Morning)

Jute

Scissors

Hot Glue

Hot Glue Gun

Napkin Banner Suplies

I gathered my components.

I was able to get four banner pieces from each napkin. I cut the banner pieces 4 inches wide, and then cut a triangle at the bottom. I wasn’t too worried about them being “PERFECT”. Although, I was careful not to leave jagged cuts.

Now it was time to adhere the napkin to the jute.

I spaced my banner pieces about 3-4 inches apart. But again, I didn’t make it perfect. I like a little bit of variety. BUT, I did eyeball it, so it looked pretty evenly spaced.

Easy Banners For Any Party

You can see how fun the Napkin Banner looks with my tulle banner and the pom pom string I made at Halloween.  I will have a tutorial for the tulle banner next week. So stay tuned.

Tea Party Ideas

If you were here a few weeks ago you will remember that I used the Napkin Banner at my tea party as a decoration. I think a Spring Napkin Banner would look so pretty as an Easter decoration or even fun for Fourth of July, Memorial day, Veteran’s Day, Flag day with flag print, or red, white and blue napkins.

I had so much fun teaching you How To Make a Napkin Banner.

Thanks for stopping by today. It is always fun to have you here.

Make it a great day.

I love pretty napkins and yours are just beautiful, and so your style! I never thought about making something with the pretties I have in a basket though. Pinned!
