I hope you are warm, cozy and ready to make some easy peasy DIY Gold Thanksgiving Decor.
This is so fun and you can be as creative as your imagination will take you.
I had a creative brain storm last night and I can’t wait to show you what I came up with…
You will need:
peat pots
pine cones
gold metallic spray paint (Kryon is my fave)
a vintage shutter (optional, BUT looks SO good in the middle of a dining table)
fall colored leaves
acorns
a berry vine
twigs
magnolia pods
dried sunflowers
dried artichokes (optional)
a table (coffee table or dining room table)
First:
Place your pine cone in the peat pot. You will want to use smallish pine cones so they sit snug in your peat pot.
Step 2:
Using your gold Krylon spray paint, paint your peat pot and pine cone.
(I like Krylon because it dries fast)
Once your pine cones and peat pots are dry, the REAL fun begins.
Place your shutter on a table. The begin to place all of the other components randomly on your shutter.
Wind your vine through and around your DIY Gold Thanksgiving Decor.
My colored leaves are from a recent trip to California. My acorns are from my trip to Washington D.C. last month.
The dried artichokes were a Pottery Barn purchase a few years ago. I love using them for Fall, Thanksgiving, and Christmas decorating.
Who would have thought peat pots, pine cones, leaves, acorns could make such an impact for a Fall or Thanksgiving table? You could even add candles for a more formal look.
So what do you think? Are you up for making your own DIY Gold Thanksgiving Decor?
It’s fun, easy and looks just fab!
Thanks for joining me today. I LOVE your visits and your comments.

Hi Meegan, I love your Fall tabletop on top of the shutter. I also like the fact that you can see over it and it doesn’t dominate the room. Unfortunately, my cat would make quick work of all those little things. They always seem to go for the place you don’t want them to go! Still liking it though & it provides inspiration. Pinning.
