4th of July

Sharing my Fourth of July Decorations & Ideas is fun so far, but I even have more ideas…

For my next 4th of July craft, I decided I wanted to utilize the vintage box springs I found on a hike with my Hubby. I have used them for Spring, and why not for Summer, too, right?

DIY Vintage Box Spring Sparkler Holder Collage

Sparkler Holder

Using a vintage dictionary (that I have used for most of my book page projects) I took pages and wrapped my sparkler boxes. Using scrap fabric from my wreath, I tied the book pages around the sparklers box. Easy, right?

These would be great lined down a cross a buffet table. The kids would love it!

July 4th

I AM always careful to make sure there are not any naughty words on the pages. That could make for a very awkward situation…

The Fourth of July

I have one more small idea for a patrioatic porch, centerpiece or even a tea light holder.

Patriotic Jars with Poms

Using craft paint or chalky paint. Brush on a navy blue paint to some mason jars (old or new).

Patriotic Mason Jars

For an added touch sand off some of the paint. And then tie with ric rac or a string of poms. Easy peasy, right?

It always fascinates me how patriot Americans are. It’s so very special to feel so much love for your country. Maybe one day, we South Africans can stand together and do the same. Love all your beautiful decorations, Meegan, especially the bed springs. Rusty things always work for me
