How To Make A Colorful Fall Tablescape

September 13, 2017 By Meegan 26 Comments

Do you know How To Make A Colorful Fall Tablescape? Today I am joining my friends to show you various ways to create a Fall Tablescape Ideas.

There are many ideas to choose from and I will have all of their links below for you to browse through.

If you have been reading my blog for any length of time, you know that I like blues, greens, creams, whites and any soft colors.

I have used  orange, red, yellow and browns in the past. And for some reason, I just can’t do it this year. I even set up my table and took pictures like this…

I thought by using a runner with blue touches and vintage blue mason jars I could do it.  My heart wasn’t in it. It wasn’t ME. I so

BUT, I can show you How To Make A Colorful Fall Tablescape using YOUR favorite colors. EVEN pops of orange.

I started off with a vintage shutter as my table runner. I painted it years ago to one of my favorite soft greens. So it was the perfect pallet to start with.

I like to use natural components like pine cones, dried artichokes, dried maple leaves, pecans, vintage books, faux pumpkins, branches, etc…

The vintage champagne bucket filled with branches and my large faux pumpkin was REALLY fun. And to top it off…The pumpkin has a crystal door handle as a stem.

Mixing and matching Fall colors and patterns was giving the tablescape a cohesive look I was hoping for.

Layering a embroidered vintage runner added texture and more soft colors.

Learning How To Make A Colorful Fall Tablescape using soft colors is easy when you use muted natural components. Use nuts, wooden beads, leaves, pine cones, pumpkins, etc… You get a Fall feel and look.

And, if you noticed, I spray painted the pecans both silver and gold, to add a little metallic. Not necessary, but fun.

Artichokes in chalices?  Another way to add Fall colors and interest.

All the faux pumpkins actually have REAL stems on them. I saved them from last years real pumpkins. (Um…is that weird?)

How To Make A Colorful Fall Tablescape using my favorite colors? It is a great way to change it up, a new look for your Fall decorating, and a great way to bring your own favorite colors into Fall.

Thanks for visiting me today. I love when you stop by for a visit.

Now, sit back with your favorite drink or snack and enjoy. My friends have beautiful and creative ideas for more Fall Tablescape Ideas.

Love your wheat dishes in the wire basket. My aunt had those dishes as her everyday set when I was a child. I’ll have to ask her is she still has any of it left. You created a pretty tablescape!

I’ve never seen a shutter used as a centerpiece base before – such a fantastic idea and so beautiful. I’m with you on the color scheme – I feel like I am gravitating towards the muted greens and creams as well :) Thanks for joining in on this blog hop!

I like the use of your shutter as a runner, and love the draped wooden beads. All the other little touches of nuts and sweet gum balls, and the artichoke is nice too. So if you were’t so much into pumpkins this year….I’ll tell you a little secret…that’s me almost every year! It’s a pretty table Meegan.
