As you may know, I like to make pretty things without spending a lot of money. Whether it is for home décor, parties, or seasonal decorating. As part of the Thrifty Style Team, today I am going to show you How To Make a Tulle Banner.
I like to make banners and pennants for parties, showers, weddings, and holidays. I made a tulle banner for a tea party, along with a pom pom, and napkin banner to add to the ambiance.
It is super easy, takes very little time and I love the shabby style.
Let’s get started with the How To Make a Tulle Banner tutorial…
You will need:
4 yards-tulle, in the color of your choice
2 1/2 yards-lightweight string
scissors
Cut tulle into 8 inch strips.
Start from the middle of your string, and work your way out.
Using a square knot, tie the tulle strips to the string.
Spacing each strip 3 inches apart.
Leave 1 foot of string on each side for hanging.
Take a few minutes and “fluff” the tulle for a full look. You can add as much or as little tulle that fits your look and style.
I attached my tulle banner to my mirror using tape. Although you could use command strips or even tie it to your desired space.
I just love the soft look it adds to the other banners for my tea party. It is the perfect way to add texture for any party or event.
I hope you have had fun learning How To Make a Tulle Banner. I think might be making them for years to come.

that banner is so sweet Meegan. As simple as it is to make and as much tulle as I have in my craft room, I never have thought to make one when I could have used a banner like that.
