Meegan’s Field Trips

August 22, 2014 By Meegan 1 Comment

Happy Friday!  It’s a SPECIAL EDITION of Field Trip Friday.  Today I am going back in time about a year and a half ago to Meegan’s Field Trips.  Yep, we are going to visit MY very FIRST Field Trip Fridays.

Field Trip Friday

Are you ready??? Let’s get started…

I used to have a post every Friday called: “My Friday Faves”  Actually it was a little boring and didn’t bring a whole lot of traffic to by blog.  When I read other blogs, I LOVE seeing scenery, other towns and places the blogger has seen.  So I thought maybe MY readers might like that, too.

It has now evolved into guest posts from other bloggers and even a few home tours here and there.  Sometimes I still like to share my ventures and scores, too.

Field Trip FRiday To A Rose Garden & Peony Farm

Who doesn’t love a Rose Garden Or a Peony Farm?  While I was visiting a daughter in Oregon she shared her lovely state and area with me.  She literally lives just a few miles from a peony farm!  Yes, you could say I am a “little” jealous.  BUT, oh so happy for her and that I can visit often.  She likes to show me all the beautiful sights, including a rose garden just down the street from her own home.  Enjoy this lovely field trip.

Farmers Market

Gotta love me a farmers market.  Don’t you?  Especially while I was in Oregon.  This is a picture of all the goodies I came back with.  I LOVE farmers markets and I know YOU will like this one, as well.

Thrifting Collage

Next I am taking you on a field trip to see My Thrifted Finds.  Oh yes!  Thrifting is one of my fave past times, as you know.  On this field trip, I scored big time.  The demijohn bottle was ONLY 75 cents!!  Click on over to see more…

Bellagio Las Vegas

As most of you know, I live in Las Vegas.  Although, I don’t visit The Strip very often.  Pretty much only when friends and family come for a visit.  BUT, when we do browse The Strip, we LOVE to visit the Bellagio, Las Vegas.  If you haven’t ever been, it is a MUST SEE.  From the fountains outside, to the indoor garden, and the world’s largest chocolate fountain, it is not to be missed.  The garden is decorated for seasons and holidays.  It changes often.  So if you think you have seen it already, when you go back, it will be completely different.  Can you see why I like it so much?

I hope you have enjoyed Meegan’s Field Trips today.  I have enjoyed “reliving” them with you.

Are you planning a field trip soon?  I know, I am.

Make it a Field Trip Friday.

AND a wonderful weekend.
