I may have mentioned that we have family that lives in Virginia. I have been blessed enough to have visited them several times, now. I love seeing the grand-babies and exploring while I am there. Everything from historical monuments, gardens, cemeteries, plus lots of antique stores and beautiful restaurants.
Shortly after I started my blog, I had heard about The Old Lucketts Store. But I NEVER thought I would have a chance to visit. Let alone go here more than once in one trip to Virginia. BUT, I did the last few weeks and I am excited to share with you My Visit To The Old Lucketts Store-Part One.
Yes, part one, because there is SO much to see. I literally could spend hours upon hours there. And I think you could, too.
If you have been following me on Instagram, you will have already seen just a few of my pictures already. But, I have saved the BEST for my blog followers, right here.
I hope you enjoy the vintage, hip, chippy, chic and shabby style as I give you a short tour from my first visit.
As you walk through The Old Lucketts Store you will find everything from very old pieces, to reproductions, to new and fresh ideas.
There is so much to be inspired by. It has given me a boost to shop my home and refresh some pieces that I already own.
Each room is filled with collections, such as jewelry, bottles, silver, hats, clothing, furniture, doors, mirrors, dishes, windows, etc…
There are ornate styles in every room. Like I said, I could be in there hours upon hours.
There are also smaller shops on the property. Once again, just about everything you could want for creating a one of a kind home with personality.
And, oh my goodness! Can you believe this vintage window wall? So inspiring and gorgeous.
Oh, how I love these ladders. Do you think I should buy them all?
The shutters, wrought iron gates, spindles and window frames go on forever. (Well, not exactly.)
There’s so much more to see. But for now, I will leave you with a sneak peek into the garden shop on the property called “Garden Gatherings”. Another area I could spend hours in…
I will be sharing more photos and my thoughts of The Lucketts Old Store very soon. I hope you have enjoyed this glimpse into my most recent trip.
Thanks for joining me for this fun time in my life.
Have an amazing day.
